BWRT Training – What is the BWRT therapist course like?

BWRT, or Brainworking Recursive Therapy, is a revolutionary therapy that is producing fast and profound results for people all over the world with a wide range of conditions. But, what is the BWRT training like? Maybe you’re considering becoming a BWRT practitioner, or perhaps you’re fascinated by how the technique is taught and learned.

My experience training to become a BWRT therapist was. It’s paradigm-shifting when you realize just how simple the technique really is, and how much sense it makes. After learning it and undergoing a few sessions I think the fastest, most-effective therapy is BWRT.

My training course was taught by the founder of BWRT Terrance Watts. I found him to be a sensitive, intelligent and extremely open-minded gentleman, who truly loves what he does. It felt exciting and rare to be able to do the actual course with the man who developed the therapy – like I was getting in on the ground level.

The course was split into ten modules, and done entirely online. BWRT is just as effective online as in person, so doing the training online felt appropriate. Every Monday night we’d log on to an online interface with other therapists from around the world to go deeper into the technique, experience it for ourselves, and learn to apply it to various mental and emotional ailments.

The students are watching the trainer live on video, but the trainer can’t see you. Instead, there is a live chat going so everyone can ask questions. Terrance did a great job of reading the questions in real time and addressed every single one. People’s personalities really came through even though we never saw each other, as the chat was active and engaging. There was never a dull moment at BWRT training, and becoming a BWRT therapist has been mind-blowing and empowering.

After the ten course modules are finished, each trainee schedules a private video call with a trainer as an examination. You are expected to treat the trainer as a mock patient, and go through the entire session as thought it were real life. If you pass, you’ve earned your BWRT certification, and are officially a BWRT practitioner, and ready to treat clients immediately.

I spent more than two years earning my license in hypnotherapy, but just ten weeks to learn BWRT – I only regret not doing it sooner. I feel completely prepared to help more people, faster, and I’ve never looked back, dedicating most of my practice solely to BWRT.

If you’re thinking about becoming a BWRT therapist or taking a BWRT course, I wholly recommend it – and if you can sign up for one taught by the founder Terrance Watts, it’s even better.
